UMC faculty/advisors are invited to a demonstration of APLUS today (Thursday, January 9) at 1:30 pm in Hill Hall 112. After the demo, there will be a Q&A opportunity.
APLUS is a software program developed by the U of M in the cities to assist with advising. It is simply a program that helps those who work with students advise them more effectively by capturing a lot of relevant information in one place. Examples of information provided in APLUS would be the students name, picture, declared major, credit information (term and cumulative), service indicators, warnings, alerts, enrollment, tags, notes, contacts via email, and much more! It also shows many items as color coded so that it is easy to visually recognize grade issues, etc.
